To build a hybrid financial tool to service the unique needs and behaviors of the Mexican-American community, a modern banking cooperative to help community members participate in the economy through a feature set that is simple, direct, and transparent. We’ve built a product that is tailor-made for an underserved segment of an already woefully underserved financial population. If we want to create a relationship with Mexican-Americans, we can’t just communicate in their “language,” we need to communicate in their culture. We want to be a supportive partner—an authentic bridge between cultures for them by building a new kind of bank created specifically with their needs in mind.
